Conference on Innovative Entrepreneurship in ICT Industry 2020

In response to the YEAR OF NATIONAL DIGITAL TRANSFORMATION and contributing to the development of digital startups, VINASA cooperated with Office of National Program 844 to hold Conference on Innovative Entrepreneurship in ICT Industry 2020” on November 11th, 2020 at National Economics University, Hanoi. The program is included in a series of events promoting Digital Start-ups in the framework of Techfest Vietnam 2020. With the theme of Digital Transformation - Opportunity to be Saint Giong for Vietnamese Technology Startups, the Conference attracted the attendance of about 200 delegates representing all components of the startup ecosystem: Investors, startups, accelerators, and tech startups.
The 4.0 industrial revolution and the impact of Covid - 19 have forced many businesses to adapt to Digital Transformation. 2020 is the year of deep and comprehensive National Digital Transformation. This tendency creates important changes in the value chain of industries as well as in the global supply chain. In the current digital economy circumstances, organizations, businesses and traditional models are required to have drastic changes in order to continue to exist and develop. Therefore, it is considered as a golden time for Vietnamese digital startups to rapidly develop like Saint Giong in the technology industry of Vietnam and the region.
According to the assessment at the conference, currently, Vietnam technology Startups have an outstanding level of technology, not inferior to big companies in the industry, especially very developed in new technologies and solving specific problems of society with high adaptability and scalability. With a good adaptability and selective capacity, startups are now fully capable of keeping pace with the industrial revolution and creating innovation in the Digital Transformation.
The Organizing committee has selected and introduced a number of Technology startups. These are all prominent startups in Digital Transformation with diverse fields: Smart City, Logistic, E-commerce, SMEs, Agriculture, ... such as:
- Base.vn: It claims to be the first SaaS platform (Software as a service) in the region that helps enterprise streamline activities with features such as Base E-hiring (an applicant tracking system), Base Wework (a task and project management platform), and Base Request (internal request management).
- GetFLY: Customer relation management system is a cloud-based CRM platform providing Sales, Marketing and Customer Care solutions. The platform offers features for managing the sales process, potential customers, business campaigns, and customer feedback and also offers integrated PABX. It offers iOS and Android-based mobile application. It offers a subscription-based pricing policy.
- vnCheck: The Traceability Platform (TXNG) 4.0 for Agricultural Products according to ISO 9001: 2015, USDA (US Department of Agriculture) and the European Union (EU Organics) labels GS1 standards.
- Dauthau.Info: A software system to exploit and provide bidding information for enterprises to participate in the public procurement market, which is a tool to help businesses (as contractors and investors) progress digital transformation practice in the field of search and "hunt" bid information to get ready to enter the government shopping market with a whole new mindset.
- VTGO: The application is a technology platform that allows the connection between the carrier and the cargo owner, the application provides the tools to the two parties can carry out the contents of an electronic cargo contract, perform the electronic bill of carriage, make the payment and evaluate the quality of the services.
In company with Conference on Innovative Entrepreneurship in ICT Industry 2020, VINASA and National Program 844 cooperated to organize two other activities, including Conference on launching ICT Investor Network (Vietnam Digital Investor Club - VDI) and Vietnam Digital Technology Startup Exhibition.
