The Vietnam-Ireland Business Forum is one of a number of collaborative projects being implemented by Ireland and Vietnam on a Government-to-Government basis. The Forum is designed to enhance the business environment for, and the growth of, the private sector in Vietnam. The overall programme is a joint initiative of the Embassy of Ireland and the Vietnam Ministry of Planning and Investment.

The conference "Information Technology and the future development of Hanoi" was hosted by the Association of Software & IT Services in Vietnam (VINASA) in collaboration with the Trade Promotion Center - Hanoi Department of Trade and Industry on 8/10/2011.

ICT Networking is a significant side event in WITFOR 2009 of which the criteria is to build a network connecting Vietnamese and international ICT enterprises, organizations, training centers. This network especially provides members with chances of business exchange and cooperation opportunities. There are two main activities: Business Matching Online and Business Matching Onsite

VietNamNet Bridge – As of June 30, the highest fine for copyright infringement will increase to 500 million dong, equivalent to $29,000. The Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism (MCST) has sent warnings to 82 big companies in Hanoi and HCM City.
