Ho Chi Minh City 5th April 2010. CSC and Tan Hiep Phat Group organized a ceremony to officially celebrate the SAP Go-Live of THP’s ERP Implementation Project, completed successfully by CSC Vietnam in the record time of 5 months and 8 days.
The ERP Implementation Project at THP Group followed 5 phases including Project Preparation, Business BluePrint, Realization, Final Preparation, and Go-Live. The Business Blueprint in particular was completed within a record 7 weeks. After the Go-Live, CSC will continue to support THP for another two months before completing the hand-over to THP.
The Project didn’t stop at core modules such as Sales and Distribution, Production, or Finance, but some extended business functions such as Loan Management, Foreign Currency Management, Profitability Analysis, Enterprise Consolidation, and Business Intelligence.
One of the highlighted point of the project is THP has successfully implemented solutions for double credit check. This helps THP to manage customer’s credit limit both in value and in quantity with combination of standard SAP and customized programs for empties management.
The project involved over 40 CSC consultants from Vietnam as well as other countries, working with well over 100 THP employees as core team members.
The Project’s success is testament to CSC’s capabilities in ERP Consulting and Implementation of SAP for the FMCG industry.
During the project’s execution, CSC had strong support and involvement from THP’s executive management team, as well as a very dedicated core team. The success of the project is also testament of the strong business framework already existing within THP, as well as an eager and fast-learning THP core team.
