The Vietnam-Ireland Business Forum (VIBF) is managed by Enterprise Ireland in cooperation with our Vietnamese partners, the Vietnam Chamber of Commerce and Industry (VCCI) and the Vietnam Software Association (VINASA)
It has been agreed that the VIBF will initially concentrate on the development of cooperation between Vietnam and Ireland in the areas of Information Technology and Software.
The VIBF offers a platform for Vietnamese companies to find new technologies and products and to use these to develop their business in Vietnam and in the region.
The first session of the VIBF was held in Hanoi on November 16th and 17th 2009.
Eight Irish ICT companies presented their products and technologies to a local audience of Vietnamese ICT companies and entrepreneurs and this was followed by one-to-one business discussions.
On Tuesday 17th individual schedules were arranged for the visiting Irish companies to meet possible customers and partners in Hanoi.
The second session of the VIBF will be held in Ho Chi Minh City of April 15th and 16th 2010.
